From 13 April 2026, all Long Service Leave (LSL) claims must be submitted online through the SA Portable LSL Worker Portal.

This update is part of SA Portable Long Service Leave Community Service’s commitment to make the claims process quicker and easier for both workers and employers.

 

Why the Change

The new online process introduces a more efficient and user-friendly way to manage claims. By moving to the digital portal, SA Portable Long Service Leave Community Service is reducing paperwork and improving visibility from submission to payment.

 

What Payroll & HR Teams Need to Know

Please share this update with your teams so everyone is prepared for the transition.

If possible, please hold off submitting any LSL claims until 13 April 2026 while SA Portable Long Service Leave Community Service completes the system transition. If a claim needs to be submitted before that date, you can continue using the downloadable claim form currently available on the website.

 

For Workers

From 13 April, you'll be able to:

  • Lodge your LSL claim directly through the Worker Portal
  • Upload supporting documents securely
  • Track your claim status from start to finish
  • Receive notifications when a worker submits a claim for review
  • Review and approve claims directly through your Employer Portal
